Validations and Certifications

Zero-emission performance isn’t a claim. It’s a result of engineering design that removes leak paths entirely through magnetically actuated valves (MAVs), validated against the most demanding standards in the world. MagDrive valves deliver 100% leak-free performance above background, proven through the following independent third-party certifications and validations:

NASA Cryogenic Validation

We solved the hardest problem first. MagDrive valves have been validated in NASA applications, demonstrating reliable, leak-free performance at temperatures down to –333°F on multiple compounds including GHe, O2, He, N2, H2O, CH4, C3H7OH, and HFE7100. These tests confirm magnetic actuation integrity for zero emissions in cryogenic, vacuum, and mission-critical environments where failure is not an option.

ISO Fugitive Emissions Verified

MagDrive valves are third-party certified to meet ISO 15848-1 AM CC2 for linear valves, ISO 15848-1 AH CO3 for quarter-turn valves, and ISO 15848-2, meeting rigorous international fugitive emissions standards for industrial valves under mechanical cycling, pressure, and thermal stress.

API Certifications

MagDrive valves are certified to multiple American Petroleum Institute (API) standards, including:
  • API 624 Certified – Type Testing of Rising Stem Valves for Fugitive Emissions
  • API 598 Certified – Valve Inspection and Testing
  • API 641 Certified – Type Testing of Quarter-Turn Valves for Fugitive Emissions
  • API 6FA Certified – Standard for Fire Test of Valves
These certifications confirm zero-leak performance under valve operating conditions often encountered in oil, gas, LNG, and petrochemical service.
